Root canal therapy

We offer root canal therapy for both front (anterior) and rear (posterior) teeth. Root canals are used to treat infected teeth. During root canal therapy, Dr. Blalock will sterilize your tooth to treat the infection and remove damaged and decayed enamel from its interior. A root canal will relieve the pain and discomfort of a severe toothache, preserve your natural tooth, and prevent the need for an extraction.

Dental crowns

Dental crowns restore a damaged or decayed tooth. These dental prosthetics are shaped just like natural teeth and cover a damaged tooth all the way to the gum line. We offer same-day CEREC crowns that are made in our office for a more convenient restoration. Dental crowns are designed to protect your tooth from further damage and restore its shape and appearance. Dental crowns are often recommended for teeth that have been cracked, chipped, or treated with root canal therapy.

Full & partial dentures

Partial dentures clip onto your healthy teeth and support one or more false teeth, restoring the aesthetics and function of your smile after tooth loss. Full dentures fit directly over your gums, restoring the entire upper, lower or both arches of teeth. Both full & partial dentures allow for fast treatment time, eliminate the risk of teeth shifting, and restore your natural smile and bite.

Sedation options

At Lakeside Dental, we offer laughing gas to help even anxious patients stay relaxed and pain-free. The gas is delivered through a comfortable nose mask that you will wear during your appointment. As you breathe in, you will begin to feel floaty and giddy. Because laughing gas is an analgesic, you will feel no pain. The effects wear off quickly, so you will be able to go back to your normal day-to-day routine after your treatment.
